Cave Story (A.K.A. Doukutsu Monogatari) is a freeware "Metroidvania"-style 2D action game for the PC, Mac, and Linux created entirely by Pixel. It was later released on WiiWare (and DSiWare) complete with updated graphics and a remastered soundtrack.
